Student Sessions/Semester

Our Aim Is To Provide:

  • Multi-Sensory Methodologies in Reading, Writing and Math Instruction.
  • Specific dedication to multi-sensory research based instruction to students who have difficulty with language, reading, writing and math.
  • Understanding of literacy and numeracy acquisition in the community.
  • Support to students, their teachers, and their families regarding best practices and suggested accommodations.
  • Informal assessments to provide direct instruction for each student's specific challenges.

    • Orton Gillingham
    • Project Read
    • Multi-Sensory Language
    • Math

    Assessments

    Students are tested informally to identify their strengths and challenges in reading, spelling, writing, and math.

    Tutoring Sessions

    The comprehensive instruction enables students to begin experiencing success immediately. The lessons are sequential and scaffolded in difficulty.
    As students learn to use strategies and rules independently, their empowerment becomes visible. Language becomes a system they can understand and use with assurance.

Application Process:

  1. Complete Application along with Health Form DOE 14 for Homeschooled Students.
  2. Student Assessment done by Na Hoku Tutoring Center
  3. Parent Conference Regarding Student Assessment

    4. Applications are available at the Haili Christian School office and are accepted throughout the school year. Summer sessions are available in a variety of formats. Phone 961-5026.

Costs

    --$125 Language Arts Assessment and Report
    --$60 Math Assessment and Report
    --$15 per 45 min. to 1 hour Group Session

    Semester contracts are paid in monthly installments due on or by the 15th of each month.
